    yeah mine just stopped constricting too, feeding time isnt that EXITING anymore but its still cool to watch the swallow (which is basicly what it is now)

    She constricts because I do a rat dance, I don't just drop em.
    If I drop em ... she doesn't constrict.

    Mines about 3 maybe 4 months old ... I don't really know, because I don't know the snakes B-day

    Shes about two feet long.

    yeah smae here he never constricted period and it was weird since the prey was bigger than what was usually fed to him(wasfed small mice i switched him over to fuzzy rats as soon as he came with no prob) it is still cool to see him strike em though(and man can he strike lol) i still have never witnessed a constricting period though. but i love him all the same.

    Haha I work at a shop that sells herps, we fed the boas the other night and one of my coworkers just dangled the rat in front of an 8 ft gal and it snagged it right out of his hands, it was hilarious, he was just trying to set it on the floor.

    But congrats on the rat switch...Ball Pythons think rats are yummy, now get ready to see some girth.

    And that looked like a huge meal...when mine was that small and eating rats, I waited 7-10 days in between feedings.
