I think my dumerils has gone off feed

So after having my dumerils for over a year I think she has finally gone off feed for the winter. She has always been a power eater, eating whatever I put in front of her but lately she has been hanging out on the cool side. last feeding 2 weeks ago was after a shed and she didn't seem like she wanted to eat but she did eat anyways after leaving it in there for a while. and yes it is f/t. so last night was feeding day and she wanted nothing what so ever to do with the rat. I left it in over night and it was still in this morning. so I think she has finally gone off feed. ugh...

Yep, went through this a few months back with my 2010 hypo Colombian girl: was always a garbage disposal but she went off feed for about 2 months (four feedings). Now she's back to being a hog!

Sounds like it. You seem to bee having a lot of boa issues lately.

no not really. I had one that I would call an issue last febuary when I bought the Guyana but other than that no I have not. all my boas eat every week. my albino is a slow grower witch leads to slow sheds but all of them are in health. please do explain where I have had a lot of boa issues lately?

He started 5 threads with things he wanted further thoughts on and possibly some educated advice from those with more experience. That certainly doesn't mean, nor should it imply, that he had "issues" with any of his boas. This is a place to learn and to bounce ideas, thoughts, and advice off each other. I am considered quite experienced with boas, but I still ask for plenty of advice from others more experienced than myself. Doesn't mean my snakes, or I, have issues though. We should never stop learning, and asking questions should never be discouraged or frowned upon or made fun of.

I see nothing wrong with any question Nick has posted here. I hope that he doesn't feel ostracized thanks to your post and choose to leave BP.net. That would be a shame.....

kali, for this reason I have became a floater on here rather than one that posts. it would be something if it wasn't breeding season when my dumerils went off feed, or it would be something if my boas, were loosing weight, or it would even be something like my Guyana when I first got him that had mites and pin worms. but for someone to post a question about a dumerils that started favoring the cool side of the tank, then went off feed a month later is kind of ridiculous to say they have many boa issues. when in all it is just a general inquire about something that I have not delt with before.
