    Is this a Super Pastel?

A male, asking $150 on Craigslist. From Super x Super pairing. Does this look like a super to you? I don't think it is a "super" super if it is?

I'm assuming you're not asking about the pinstripe that's in the pic? The other one does have quite some blushing on its head, and that's normally a sign of it being a super. It'd be nice if the seller posted better pictures. But I'm on the same boat as you, if it is a super its not a "super" super. Is the seller asking $150 for both or just the one? If it were both I'd gobble that offer up regardless.
    I've got quite a few...

No, $300 for both, so I'm assuming could get the one for $150. The other snake is supposed to be a lemonblast. They both look really faded to me. But I'm really new to this hobby.

Yes that looks like a super pastel, but the pictures are very washed. I doubt the snake's color is anything close to that, but if I am wrong, I'd pass on both.

Re: Is this a Super Pastel?

OhhWatALoser, I thought the same thing (very washed out) so I asked if they were really this color and if I could get additional pictures. These are the additional pictures, and the seller says the color is accurate. I suppose I could go drive to see in person, but it's a long drive.

I agree that the Pastel is a Super, but if the Pin is a Lemonblast, this guys color balance on his photos is awful.

Re: Is this a Super Pastel?

    Slim,

Based on your answer, it sounds like they are just crappy pictures and it might be a good idea to see them in person?

If they have good color in person, is that a decent price?

IMO they are just average prices, not worth making a drive. I honestly still don't believe those colors are accurate, but I don't see them being top notch animals anyway. I'll give you some thoughts on animals I know look like the picture.

The lemonblast I produced last year, I would just say is average, nothing spectacular, but not bad, 5/10:

The supers I thought were pretty nice, this picture missed most of the blushing he had lol. The super however was also het hypo, which tends to show a little bit with some animals. But there are other animals out there with even more intense yellow and more blushing, even without the het hypo. but overall I thought they were above average. 7.5/10

I do think the Pin is a Lemonblast, so I think the picture is pretty bad. I'd bet the Pastel is a Super, because if the Lemonblast looks that off....the lighting is bad.
