    Whats a good size enclosure

Up until now i have only owned slings and when i get a new sling i buy it with an enclosure. Recently i purchased and adult rose hair and a sub adult (3") purple toe(avic avic) what would be a good sized enclosure for each one dont have them yet but i will when it warms up a little bit.

When I kept tarantulas most were able to comfortably be housed in one of the MANY different sized kritter keepers.

Just looked up some sizes at http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...et-containers/. The medium and large ones would work fine for most average sized(4-5 inch) tarantulas. In the case of arboreals such as your avic they are just as easily set up on their end for a vertically taller enclosure.

a 5.5 gal tank layed on its side is perfectly fine for most all adult terestrials and stand it on end for arboreal T's. obviously not for large goliath bird eaters or a 9" P rufilata but suitable for most. the average size or suggested size of an enclosure is 3x the dls of the T in length and 2x the dls in width.
