I was wondering, I heard from someone that if a tarantula loses one of its legs and it molts and the leg doesnt grow back that means it is a male. Then if it does grow back that it is a female. Can this be true?

male or female it will grow back unless the male is in his penultimate molt

i know this is totally off subject but.....wendy,i see in your list it says 0.2 orange baboon....you mean like a monkey or is that some kind of spider or somthing ??

podo i was thinking even in the penultimate molt a male will probly grow it back only in the ultimate molt it won't on a male
