    Pest Control

Hey guys, my landlord wants to call a pest control to have this house sprayed for termites and whatever else. Obviously I should remove my snakes from the premises, but is it safe for them to return them after 8 hours? Has anyone experience this before?

    Thanks.

Are they tenting the house or just regular spraying/powder application?

They are going to spray around the house (no tent).

I don't have any experience with this but if you can be in the house i would imagine so can the snakes. Or when you can be back in the house.

If they aren't tenting I don't think you will have much to worry about after 8 hours. Like Boanerges said once it is safe for you it should be safe for the snakes.

They give a safe period under the assumption that a small child will be licking the floors, so it will probably be safe for the snakes if returned after the same period.

I am asking because my landlord said that his previous tenant couldn't keep his turtle because of this. I think his former tenant doesn't know what he was talking about.

I would think it would be safe after the recommended time. If it were me I would put plastic over all the cages/racks before they sprayed.
