    Shedding problems - Help?

My male Pastel eats like a horse, and is rather fat atm. Gonna take him off two rat fuzzies and give him one every two weeks until he slims down, but he's shedding his skin and has managed to shed it on his body except for his head. upper body and eyes, he doesn't appear to be trying to rub it off, and I've soaked him and soaked him in warm water. What else can I do? The skin just isn't wanting to peel, I can't even try and rub it off with a towel after soaking.

How big is this pastel (in grams). 1 rat fuzzy every two weeks is next to nothing.

Are you sure he's that fat? A BP that got so fat eating two rat fuzzies that he would need to be put on a diet seems...rare.

For the shed you can try doing something like soaking him, then covering him with a wet dishrag or towel or something. While he's climbing out from under it he'll rub against the towel and hopefully rub the skin on his head off. People also put the snake in a damp pillowcase with great success.

I'll weigh him in a little bit and get back to you on that, but he's not that big and looks like a sausage and is very squishy, I just feel he's over weight a bit. But yeah, because I don't have any old pillow cases not in use, I've tried soaking him in a damp towel gently rubbing him with a damp wash cloth, letting him soak in warm water for about 20 to 30 minutes with monitoring. But that skin just isn't wanting to budge, and his eye caps look all cracked. -Sighs.-

Check walmart for some of these, for stuck eye caps I crank the humidity up for a few hours and use these
