    Whats up with her?

Firstly Merry Xmas Eve hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow!

I checked on my rosy boa this morning & noticed part of her body towards her tail is all wrinkly & shriveled looking...can anyone tell me what is wrong? Or is she coming into shed?

I only just got her Sunday & she wasn't like it.

Merry Xmas Eve! I have never owned Rosy's before, but I know my ball pythons sometimes look down right funky before they shed.

Looks like stuck shed to me. Is it only on her tail area? I'd maybe bump her humidity up a bit and see what happens when she does shed out. Might be fine, or she might need a little soak to help. Rosies don't need as high humidity as most other boas, but she may need some help in this case. But see what happens first - she might be able to take care of it herself with a little rise in humidity, or it might simply be how she looks before a shed too.

Yeah, rosy boas can look downright awful before they finally shed! When I got my first rosy I seriously thought he was on death's door because he looked so terrible and wrinkly and sick, but then he shed a couple days later and looked just fine!
