Oil Filled Radiant Heater
Which ones do you guys use? My plan is to get one for my tiny bedroom so I can add a few small racks. The apartment isn't insulated so I figure the best I can do is put plastic over the window in my bedroom and keep the door shut all the time.

We use a HOLMES brand one. I believe we got it from Target years ago. But we use it a ton to just bring the temp up around the rat racks in the garage....Not really sure we need to but...
Only problem we have is it occasionally pops the breaker.

i use a ceramic, kills the humidity, but i also have a humidifier, so it evens out pretty well.

I have one of these. It's been going strong for over a year. It has timers and a remote.

I use the same as KMG, works great only issue I have is when the electric goes out the temp needs reset and turned back on (not a big deal).I use the built in digital thermostat and it keeps it perfect. I should probably use a back up thermostat, but this will be my second winter and haven't had an issue yet.

Re: Oil Filled Radiant Heater
radiator heaters are junk. they suck humidity and electricity. look into an infrared heater. they are very efficient and don't suck the humidity out of the air.
