    My Gaboon Viper

    Got the little guy about 5 months ago. He has already put a little size on since. Hes in shed now so ill get a updated pic once he sheds. And I have found 3 of his shed fangs which I thinks pretty cool.[IMG]

    Thanks. He does have a nice pink in him. I have always loved the color and patterns on the Gaboons.

    Yep me to. Just make sure you watch the humidity levels during the shed cycles. Bitis are very sensitive and a badly stuck shed can be a death sentence to them. Not to mention the keeper.

    If I ever made the move into hots one of these would be a must. I love the patterns. Very nice.

    What's his disposition like? Pretty easy to work with?

    Hes not to bad, just huffs and puffs a lot hasnt stuck any other then at food, but I dont really mess with him no more then I have to.

    Nice. I haven't had one shed fang of my Gaboons as of yet, and I've had them over two years .

    Your first venomous snake?

    If you haven't kept Gaboons before, do not overfeed. Once every two weeks is perfectly adequate for an animal of this size. Otherwise you'll end up with a fat gaboon, and an animal that dies prematurely.
