well jeeper had sorta a bad shed this time...all of his old skin is gone, EXCEPT one little piece on his head that i hate looking at. i have to hold him for quite a while and let him get used to me before i can even come close to his head. but when i finally do and i can hold him, he struggles when i try to get that little piece of skin off...what can i do about this piece of skin?

    shed question

Try soaking him for a while to loosen the skin up, then have him slither through a damp towel. I heard that works. Good luck with that pesky skin patch.

Yep, that is pretty much the best approach.

You can try that or if its just a little patch it probibly wont hurt him to leave it on there. Young ball pythons shed very often and the little patch will come off next shed just make sure your humidity is appropriate.
    Thanks,
