Enclosure Items Dishwasher Safe?
I figured it would be real easy to throw my water dishes and hides and such in the dish washer would that be okay?

I don't see an issue with it other then do you want that stuff in your dishwasher.

I put all mine in the dishwasher, just rinse off any substrate first so the drain lines don't get clogged with aspen or cypress.

Why? I'm sure it's fine, but I wouldn't do it .I just wipe my hides down with Peroxide and anti bacterial alcohol wipes and then rinse in steaming hot water in my bathtub,it takes 5 mins.

Another valid point and a reason not too. As well as all the chemicals from the soap and what not..I prefer to wash everything by hand. I not a lazy dude,it's the ADD I think. Once I get going,I keep going

I don't think it would hurt anything, so long as there were no chunks of anything on them. Personally though, I wouldn't. I dont like the idea of a hide that has had urates and poo on it where my plates/cups/silverware goes... Just a personal preference. I clean with F10.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

I was just wondering that while cleaning a hide today! (I already put the feeding tongs in there.) Of course, my "mom rule" is that we don't get anything that can't be put in either the dishwasher or the washing machine.
Probably won't start putting cage furniture in there, though.

I put all my plastic and ceramic water dishes in the dishwasher. Never had an issue. The only thing is to make sure the items are dishwasher safe.
