Together during cleaning?

I know you don't want to generally house 2 BPs together, but I'm wondering at the likelihood of them injuring each other if I put them in a smallish tub together for 2-3 hours during enclosure cleaning.

The plastic cage I would have used for one broke, and I'm wondering if I need to buy a new rubber-maid.

I'll note that these are pretty expensive morphs, so I'd rather not risk any injury. But if there isn't really any risk then I'm fine with it.

Also, one hasn't eaten in a couple of weeks and I'm concerned meeting another snake could increase her stress.

I doubt that its a problem but whats another $10 if they are that expensive, you might aswell just grab another tub so you have peace of mind.

Both female, or is one male? People have had unintended breedings result from putting a male and female together for only a few minutes. Assuming that's not an issue, and that they're fairly similar in size, I wouldn't expect major issues. Obviously don't do it if one still has the smell of food on it, etc.

That said, why not put one in the "holding tank," clean its enclosure, put it back, and then repeat the process with the other snake? It's not like one person can simultaneously clean two enclosures anyway, right?

I house one of my pairs together and never had a problem. As stated above, make sure they're similar in size as well as a chance of them accidentally breeding.

I've heard of two males fighting when put in the same enclosure but I've nevet done that so I don't have any personal experience with that.

Other than that, there shouldn't be any issues. At least i never had any. But if you're second guessing it, just get another tub and have them seperately.
