Christmas came a little early this year!

So I stumbled upon a gently used 5 tub rack system made by C Serpents. I'm a big fan of the idea to "support your local shop(s)" and considering the discount I was offered, I decided to pick it up. It's in great shape and it came with 5 tubs (28qt), 3 dividers and a Herpstat 1.

Naturally, I couldn't get a new rack system and leave it empty! I started browsing through various Threads and Classifieds ads to get a good idea of what was out there and who was putting it out there. I came across a pair that I thought was very reasonably priced and did a little further research on the breeder. As I've never had an animal (of any kind) shipped to me, I wanted to make sure the person was knowledgeable and reputable.

After much consideration, I'm pleased to announce two new additions to my collection.

    1.0 Citrus Bumblebee

    0.1 Reduced Pinstripe

I am anxiously awaiting their arrival and will update the thread with more pictures/information this afternoon! Please, let me know what you think..

    Respectfully,

    Schmee123

Nice simple looking rack system. Where did you order the BPs from?

Re: Christmas came a little early this year!

Sorry for the delay, but here is the review I promised earlier..

The seller was Mr. Cooper at Cooper's Constrictors.

After being very impressed with the quality of his BPs and positive reviews, I decided to inquire about a "Citrus Spinner Blast Package" he had available. I'd been looking for a sub-adult female to add to the collection and when I came across his ad, I couldn't pass it up! I loved the reduced pattern of the Pinstripe and was (still am) in awe with the colors of the Citrus Bumble Bee. We exchanged a few e-mails and spoke briefly before painlessly coming to an agreement on price and shipping details. Before I could say "Holy Spinner Blast", I was anxiously awaiting their arrival.

The BPs were shipped yesterday (Monday) afternoon, as promised and arrived around 0930 this morning. I opened the box and emptied the contents. The box contained contact information for Mr. Cooper, shipping information, 2 ID sheets (which included info such as DOB, Lineage and Feed size/schedule), a heat pack, some packaging material to secure the BPs and to my delight, 2 LIVE BPs! I was pretty nervous, as I've never had an animal (of any type) shipped to me before.

They were quite timid at first (understandably so), but after warming them up with a warm towel, they sprung to life. I was able to take a quick picture before introducing them to their new home and a bowl of fresh water. I'll take some better pictures once they settle in..

I could not be happier with my new additions or my experience with Mr. Cooper. I was equally impressed with the quality of Customer Service, as I initially was with the quality of his BPs. I have no doubt, that I will be doing business with Mr. Cooper in the future. I can't wait to see what he decides to let go in the near future. Maybe I'll get lucky and end up with one of those Holdbacks!

Mr. Cooper, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I hope others are lucky enough to have the opportunity to do business with you also!

    Kind Regards,

    Respectfully,

    Schmee123

It's ALWAYS good to see this! Wait until that guy sheds for you... man oh man... and be careful because that Pin will eat your entire rat colony if you let her!

Thank you for the kind words, Jonathan. Most importantly, enjoy those little boogers and keep in touch! (I'll call you tomorrow)

wow, lineage data without even asking for it !!!!!!!! this is how it should always be. its so helpful to get data on the parent snakes, and grandparent snakes, and so on.

unfortunately normally people buy a BP, then get curious, then inquire, and then get data on anchestry. or maybe not. many breeders have good record keeping, but only on demand. these papers, personally signed with a date, and with a picture embedded, are how it should be. really nice. i wish every BP would come with that kind of paperwork, and what makes this wish a bit frustrating is that it would be so easy if people just get their stuff properly organized.

also the BPs look very good and healthy. also it makes sense to breed them, its a smoking single-gene female and a really nice double-gene male and they are fully compatible. lemonblasts, bees, maybe spinnerblast, or just a spinner... really good. quite a low chance to hatch normals.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.
If you disagree, send me a PM.

The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.
