Look what our 5 year old son caught last Thurdsday while playing in his great grandmother's creak.
Of course he let him go. We all thought it was so cute.

The funny thing is that he doesn't really have anything to do with the herps at home. Doesn't seem to peak his interest as much as the GameBoy. I was really surprised that he picked it up. He was very proud of his self. Goofy little boy. I was also very proud of him as well.

Me too; my dad would take me and my friends out to the cabin, and we'd bring home frogs and snakes, and my mom would just hate it. It definately creaed a conflict of interests! It also led to me keeping snakes, etc. under the bed and in other hidden places in my room. Any kid who has herp-loving parents is sure lucky!
