Why did you change it in the first place?

Re: Bedding
Yes paper towels are fine. Some specimens will have different preferences but in the end it rarely makes a huge difference, I have a retic that often laid out on her paper towels but preferred soaking in her water bowl when I switched her over to cypress.

Re: Bedding
Well I changed from aspen bedding because was really expensive and was holding way to much humidity and was growing mold almost everyday. Plus a few of them would get the aspen stuck in mouth and hack it up.

Ok thank you! Just worried about mites because I know if soak in water bowl could be that but haven't seen any mites on her or on paper towels.

All of my ball pythons are on paper towel or newspaper. Always have been and always will! It just makes clean up so much easier and it is much cheaper. Especially if you go the newspaper route, a lot of times you can find local papers that are free!
