    Awkward yawning (Video)

Hey everyone, woke up this morning and when I went to do my usual routine with my snake I noticed his head was startin to peak out and he 'yawned' for an extended period, so I looked a little closer and he yawned again. I saw 2 pieces of what almost looked like hair in his mouth. Got those out with my tongs. However he was still acting a little strange. The inside of his mouth looked normal, not infected. Sorry the video is sideways. It was recorded on my phone and quicktime doesnt wanna let me rotate it. PS you probably need quicktime to view as I hosted the video on my own site to save time.. :-/ I'll have it up on YouTube soon.

Im not sure also if it could be from the failed feed on Monday? Maybe he hurt himself somehow? Or maybe the mouses scent is still in the tank?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I'd say it was possible he was rooting in the substrate and got a few bits caught in his mouth and was trying to get them out again.

Then he was simply reseating his jaws.
