Please Help! I need help feeding my new baby Ball Python

I purchased my Ball Python from a local Pet Store Saturday, the chart they gave me said to feed him the next day, which was Sunday. I tried to feed him a thawed fuzzy little mouse, he was in no way interested. How long should I wait to try and feed him again? And I seen on youtube, were snake owners removed their snake from their home and feed them in another tub or cardboard box. Should I also remove my snake from his home before feeding him?

No definitely leave him in his enclosure, give him a week to settle in to his home and try again.

I had a hatchling that wouldn't eat anything to do with FT,I tried a bunch of things,I threw in a live feeder and took it right away.... I'd advise make sure your set up is correct and give him a week to settle in or so,if it doesn't eat FT then to buy a live feeder of the appropriate size.

I'd try a bigger feeder too: at least a f/t mouse hopper/weanling and see if he goes for that.

Leave the snake in it normal enclosure, there is no need for a separate feeding tub. Also how big is your snake?

The move of when you bought the snake may have stressed him out to the point where it sit eating at this moment. Don't worry about it not taking it's first meal that you offered. Give it some time to settle in and get comfortable and try feeding again later.
