I just had my first snake which was a female het albino get loose from her enclosure I know exactly where she went just can't get to her and I can't just go and rip the floor up to get her. Just hoping she is smart enough to come out.

Re: Found my missing snake
Had a hatchling corn snake get out earlier this summer that was gone for THREE MONTHS, and found him on the front porch. He was good and healthy too, don't know how he managed.
Looks like something got ahold of his tail and he's got a bit of a scar, otherwise perfect still.
Also had my black bee get out of his display cage and climbed up about 6 levels on my rack, and just sat there to wait until I found him! I think he was only out about 15 minutes though.

Congrats! It must feel good to get her back.
I lost one of my females one summer for 3 months. I know she was still in the house, but wasn't sure where. One day I went to a high storage shelf to grab something and there she was sleeping in the middle of the shelf. She was in pretty decent condition. A little thinner, but not bad.

Three to five months would have me scared out of my mind. I cried after finding my girl after one hour missing (she was out of the cage overnight though, I only knew for an hour). I still haven't figured out how she got out. Glad you found him!!

Couldn't you use a frozen/thawed (or live in a small cage/box maybe?) rat to lure her out?
