Great news about my Spider Ball!

Well I fed him a 30+ gram mouse and he is 81 grams, and I know it was too big but he ate it easily! I am so proud of him! Now he is resting and digesting on the UTH (which is regulated by a thermostat of course ) but I had a post about feeding inside or outside the enclosure and I decided to feed inside. I moved him out of his hide, held the mouse by the tail in front of him and BAM! He struck it like a champ and coiled around it, killing it in a very timely manner. I am so proud of Spidy!

Awesome!! I wouldn't hold it front of him with your fingers tho. If he misses he's gonna get your hand

Yes it was live, as you can see from sho220's post but yes it was a little big for him but he took it down no fear or problems, the issue was the place I get my mice from was out of the smaller mice at that time.

Not needed, BP's are primarily ambush predators and most will wait patiently for the feeder to walk up and poke its nose in, then WHAP.

    Good choice.
I drop the prey on the opposite side of the enclosure. That way the prey calms down a bit. I wouldn't dangle it right in front of the snake.
