    Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that Ball-Pythons.net is now under new management. You all should have received an announcement in your email telling you about Godfather's new site, Reptile Evolutions. In order to ensure that Ball-Pythons.net gets the time and attention it deserves, he has sold it to a group of familiar site moderators. No need to worry - Godfather assures us that he will stay on staff and continue as a part of our community.

The most important thing for you to understand is that our primary goal is to maintain the site that you all know and love. While you may see some small changes, they will only be to improve upon the already excellent foundation established by Godfather. It is our vision to provide a site where any and all herp enthusiasts can visit and feel a warm sense of community and welcome, regardless of whether they have years of experience or are just beginning to explore the world of herps, and where everyone can learn valuable information, and share it as well.

You already know the new owners, so there are no surprises or changes in personalities. The new management team is composed of Smulkin, Smynx, Marla, JLC (Judy), and Jeanne. Our rank will read as "Admin Council." We will take care of all your administrative needs, and continue to moderate forums as needed, along with the help of our current and future staff of mods. (Although Smynx will retain her rank of "Queen of Common Sense," she is also Admin Council.)

We hope that you find all these changes to be positive ones. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to post them here, or PM any one of us.

Thank you for your support and for what you bring as members of our community. No matter who is running the nuts and bolts of the site, it's the members who make this site what it is. We're proud to be a part of it.

    Sincerely,
    The Admin Council --
    Jeanne
    JLC (Judy)

Yip, owners have changed. With Reptile Evolutions being built I had very little time for much else. So the decision came down to either letting ball-pythons.net get neglected, sell the domain and files for a good amount of cash, or give it to someone I trust who does have time for it. And yes, I did get small compensation for bp.net. But please remember, had I decided to "sell out" bp.net would no longer be here, and someone would have probly harvested the domain and user e-mails for business purposes.

All about keeping a good thing going! Yeah I have to admit intimidating as it seeemed I had to give it a go - couldn't stomach the prospect of such a great site withering away or fading into obscurity.

You guys have helped make an awesome community I am proud to be a part of and I'll do anything I can to keep that going.

Very relieved to know the site isn't going anywhere and it is in very capable hands. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, to me, this is the best bunch of herpers on the net and I'm proud to be a part of this community. Kudos!
