Feeding roaches
Is it true that for the bigger males, that you needa rip the back legs off or they will get stuck In your reptiles throat? Someone had told me this am was not sure.. Kinda worried me so I figured I'd ask around on here. Thank you

Adult male roaches are pretty large, what are you feeding them to? We only feed excess adult males to our 3ft+ savannah monitor and have had no problems.

I've fed many adult male roaches to bearded dragons and never had an issue, they usually chew the roaches up pretty good before swallowing. I know people will often advise you to pinch off the back legs on crickets (mainly just to slow them down and make them easier to catch) but this is the first time I've heard that for roaches.

Not necessarily. Rumors like this get started and get passed around enough and pretty soon people start accepting it as fact. Then the next thing you know a bunch if internet experts are ganging up on you saying what a horrible person you are for not clipping the back legs off of your roaches.
