Watermarking company logo in photo shop?

I'm trying to watermark my company logo onto some of my photos in PS5, and I don't know how to make this work. Ive tried Google and YouTube with no luck the only thing I find is how to mark a logo with a brush in photo shop.

It doesn't help me because I'm trying to use my actual logo on my photos. I import the picture I want and after that I'm lost on what to do....

I want to be able to re size my logo or place it in different places depending on the photo.

Could some one with PS experience give me a hand please?

Make the logo a seperate layer and set the opacity to about 25 - 50%

I read your whole guide Deb, I was actually going to try this if I couldn't get any help with PS. I just want to use PS because I payed for it and I want to excel and get better at using it.

You have to make your logo it's own layer in photoshop.
If it has a white background around your logo, you can use the "Magic Eraser Tool" to remove it so only your logo remains on the layer. Otherwise the white background will cover your entire photo. So there should be two layers now. Your photo and your logo on top of that.

When your logo is it's own layer, modify the opacity in the "layer window". Make sure you click on the logo layer to modify.
