They are so tiny is it safe???

Hey there I got some colony's going i see the babies full of fur running around eyes open but not sure if they are eating on their own or drinking water on their own as i have not seen them as i dont sit there all day they are in my basement now.

Can somebody show me some pics of the ones you wean so i can get a glimps of the size/ look of these things when they are ready to move to a grow out bin??

I would estimate these babies are about 21 days so 3 weeks but they are all over the place climbing the hoppers and running all over the place.

also with the setup of the grow out bin is there anything i should be doing for them since they are so tiny?

I just leave them in with the breeders until the next litter is on the ground, then I move them to growout.

Re: They are so tiny is it safe???

The issue with that is my females are popping all at different times i have 5 females and different sized babies. Got some females looking huge and ready to pop as we speak so i guess i will use that one as the marker for when to take the largest babies out.

Any photos of the size of the weanlings when you throw them in a grow out bin?
