Yet another rat ID thread :)

First up is my latest addition, this cute lil dumbo guy:

And here's some babies. Hard to believe these fatties aren't even 5 weeks old. I'm pretty sure I know what they are, just want some confirmation:

    Thanks!

I'll need to double check on another computer, but I'd say either blue or mink (leaning toward mink). The first two really look blue, the third really looks mink, the others are somewhere in between (probably mink).

Why keep a snake? Why keep any animal? Because you enjoy the animal, find something beautiful and fascinating about it, and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

I'd say the second pic is probably closest to his true colors. He's a really light silvery color. The babies have a much browner tone, but they seem to be getting lighter everyday.

I'd be pretty confident saying mink then. It can be so variable in shade (depending on what it's carrying, and depending on if its UK or US based) it's hard to tell sometimes. Doesn't always photograph well either.

You got that right!! It's almost as hard as capturing the color of balls

I disagree. None of them look mink to me. The big male is some kind of blue.
    Looks American or British blue.
