I have hardware cloth on the top lid and front of the tub for extra ventilation because it was my old Norway breeding tub. All the female asfs shove all the poo out of the front. Maybe cleaning keeps them occupied???

Or perhaps they know its a death sentence to leave the tub since there are rat eating ferrets roaming about?

Ya know, I didn't always have problems with chewing. I think a few of them learned it was fun to chew up all their food and other ones learned from them. Usually as soon as a group starts chewing badly is when we replace them with a new trio.

I think the ferrets might have something to do with it! ASFs are pretty smart!
