Pygmy Python & Ruby Eyed Viper

I ran into these AWESOME looking snakes while browsing around the web. Im not sure if they have been shared before or not. But here is the link to the article. Page number 3 and 10. I couldn't get the exact link to just hte pictures. Sorry.

I've seen the info about Python kyaiktiyo before! Sweet looking snake, and it is considered to be in the Python curtus group, or rather, it is considered to be a short tailed python. It was classified as a different species due to it's different scalation and geographic location, where it is located in Burma/Myanmar, farther inland from the rest of the STP's range. I hope they find more of these snakes, and although it may be illegal, if they wound up in captivity, their species could be preserved in captive populations as opposed to its dying habitat. That's provided some 'tard doesn't make a muddy hybrid with the other STPs, of course.

Yeah, the one in the pic is also the only one found. So, apparently, it's super rare. I wouldn't get my hopes up on hatching any of these "pygmy" pythons anytime soon. Some are actually claiming conspiracy and saying it's a hybrid or a deformity. Pfft.
I also think the common name they dubbed it sucks, as it is not pygmy size, (same size as a blood) and would rather prefer to call it the Burmese Short-tailed python, while now referring to the burms as Burmese Rock Pythons or Burmese Black-tailed Pythons. But that's just me, and I wouldn't change anything if this new python comes out being extinct. Maybe someone could lead and expidition? Hopefully they can enter the pet trade in the same way New Caledonia geckos did!
