Picture is a burm or what?

What howling madness. We're best to stop feeding clicks to these articles. Yesterday I googled 'discovery channel python 2 boys' or something to pull up the article... first result that pops up is BP.net thread about it. These guys get voted up in priority for coverage, searches, ad revenue, etc. by clicks. We're fueling the media fire and drawing more negative attention by putting so much of our own attention on it within the community.

That is actually a good thing. At least they get to read what experienced people get to say about the story versus a news reporter that does not know the difference between a corn and a rock python.

How is this even newsworthy? They don't report on the news every time a dog gets out of the yard.

It really gets to me how they NEVER have the correct animal pictured. Is it just willful ignorance or intentional misinformation?
