    Shipping Boxes

Hello, I was wondering if you re-use shipping boxes if they're still in good condition? I've seen some horror stories with shipping reptiles (snake in worn socks, etc.) but I was wondering about the boxes. I have some that are still in good condition and the snakes I received are 100% healthy.

I have not shipped anything yet and I wanted to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

    Re: Shipping Boxes

I don't re-use boxes when I ship, because I use a completely different box than most use, but have received used boxes before. Bags are always brand new.

I have no issues receiving a used box as long as it's clean and in good condition to do its job.

Just keep in mind that whatever you send out, it's a direct reflection on you and your animals. Take pride in your shipping.

Customer service is always important to me. It would not bother me if someone re-used a box as long it is in good condition and that the box was never used with a sick animal. If I ever received a box with a sick animal or mites, I would discard that box (of course).

I wanted to know what others felt about this.

No re-using anything here, all my customers get new snake bags and new insulated boxes.

$3.50 to $4.00 is what a new box and bag will cost you, to me that's the cost of doing business and presenting myself in a professional manner.

Where are you getting a bag and 3/4 inch insulated box for 4 bucks together?

Ok I might be a little off by $1.00 but anyway $5 is still nothing compare to the snake being sold.

Fresh boxes and bags always. Old boxes go in the trash.
