Any help to ID ant?
Ok, so here are some pictures of the ants that are invading my home and I have no idea or the slightest clue what kind of ants they are. These were the best pictures I could get. I know three things for sure:
1.) They don't sting
2.) They have different sizes
3.) They have two nodes(the thing before the abdomen)
At first I thought it was the crazy ant, but it's supposed to have a spine thing and I don't see one, so any help is greatly appreciated. Just for informational purposes I'm from Louisiana.

Well a fire ant is red, and a thief ant is yellow. I thought about it being a thief ant, but thief ants have a stinger as well:

Then I thought about maybe Pharoah but I don't believe it's them because the workers are different sizes, and that doesn't say they are.

The acrobat ant is the closest I could find, especially with color, but doesn't say anything about different size workers and also it doesn't have the spine thing on the thorax. Here's a link:

Hmm. I can't tell from those pics.
I think there is a Ref Fire Ant but I'm not sure all Fire ants are red.

Do they smell nasty when you squish them?? We usually get odorous house ants back here, ad they smell like formic acid (really bitter) when crushed
