    Shed before follicle growth?

I started breeding my female that i got at least 3 months ago. I have paired her so far about 3-4 times. A few days ago she actually shed but has also been fasting since i got her. Does this shed have anything to with follicle growth or anything related to her breeding progression?

    Re: Shed before follicle growth?

Unfortunately the answer is who knows (unless she has recently ovulated). You would be able to tell us if she's developing follicles far better than we could throw darts at. I'm not sure there is a relationship between shedding and follicle growth beyond the post-ovy shed. Keep pairing like you have been and see how she continues.

Have you seen the Markus Jayne Breeding Pictorial? It's a good resource to reference the various physical signs a female is progressing through during the breeding process: http://ballpython.ca/breeding/.

    Good luck!
