How long will a 90qt. sterilite hold a growing bp?

Well a 90qt sterilite is about the size of a 20 gallon aquarium, so I'd say it could hold a snakey until it got about 2 feet? I dunno...hmm, I just got a 20 gallon tank for my future bp, and I was wondering how long I could keep the baby in there. I'm going to get a 4 month old baby bp from an exotic pet store in Windsor, and when I look into the tank, it seems to be not much space, lol. Then again, I have a hide in there that's probably too big for the baby snakey right now.

Anyway, what I'm saying is pay no attention to me. I'm just blabbering. You'll have to wait for a pro to answer. :wink:

Same here. It seems like its way to small. But thats because I have a big hide box.

Well, a 90qt sterilite is actually a bit longer then a 20gallon long glass tank, but its not as tall. I think it will last a while. The most you should need for a full grown BP I think is 30 or 40 gallons.

Yeah, I'm just using the 20 gal tank for a handful of months until the snakey grows a bit, then I'm gonna switch to a big ol' sterilite. I originally wanted to put him in a 90qt sterilite aswell, but the other day my mom surprised me with a glass tank she had got from a yard sale. Good shape and all, too. Holds water and everything. Guess when the snake is done with it, we can get a perdy fish tank going

Well, a sterilite tends to have substantially more surface area than an aquarium of similar volume. Just calculate the total surface area; the general rule is 1 square foot of area for each foot of snake.

90qt sterilite is approximately 31"x12" (or at least mine is) = 372 square inches = 2.5833333333333335 square feet

The 116 quart sterilites are 33 1/8" x 20 1/4" = 671 square inches = 4.658 square feet, which should be fine for any male bp. A larger female might require a bit more though.
