    Night Viewing Bulbs

I was wondering what type of bulbs were good for viewing at night in your snakes tank. I don't need a heat lamp this is just for viewing purposes at night. I'm pretty sure all bulbs give off heat but would I use a low wattage fluorescent bulb or incandescent bulb. Any and all suggestions welcomed.

    Thanks.

I use this on Ellas tank. It simulates moonlight and it's just bright enough that I can see her when she comes out at night. It throws off some heat but not much since I got the 50 watt.

That's a good one. I use them on my Crested geckos cages on the winter for a little extra heat. There are similar red ones that are suitable too.
