    EGGS! From Piebald X Clown het Piebald or Yellow Belly het Piebald. Five eggs.

    Second clutch for the season is finally laid. Four nice big eggs and one smaller unattached egg. The smaller egg can be seen with mom in the pictures. She wouldn't let go of it. Mom is a Piebald. Her first pairings were with a Yellow Belly het Piebald. No locks were observed. Then she was paired with a Clown het Piebald for over half of the remaining season. Enjoy 18 pictures of mom & eggs :

    Thanks! First she wouldn't let go of the little egg. Now she won't take it back into her clutch. I candled it and it looks like a slug. Not sure if I'm going to set up my incubator for it or not. I'm leaving the other eggs with mom. She seems more than willing to incubate them.
