    Pennsylvania breeder questions

OK is there any kind of special licenses or permits need if you breed ball pythons and other reptiles to sale as a business with a LLC????

You should check with your local animal control and the Dept. of Agriculture, rather than relying on forum members for something like this. There could be local ordinances that don't apply to the entire state, etc., and laws that apply differently to different species.

Yes you need a PA license to propagate(breed) any reptile that you are going to sell. It's cheap and easy to get. Here's the contact info:

    Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania
Department Of Agriculture Bureau Of Animal Health And Diagnostic Services
    2301 North Cameron Street
    Harrisburg, PA 17110-9408
    (717) 783-9550

Just give them a call and they will give you all the info you need.

here's a link to the application you need.

    Re: Pennsylvania breeder questions

This is true and all the information needed Mael has provided. I'm from pittsburgh and just had to dig this up last week. 50 bucks for 5 years is nothing just a very tiny fee.
