    Ghost gene

Question, I have a Ghost pinstripe male that I plan on breeding to a bumble bee in the near future, I know all the possibilities of what I could get, but will the ghost gene in the pinstripe change anything. thanks for your help.

The babies will all be 100% het ghosts if that's what you are asking.

    Re: Ghost gene

Some people claim het Hypo's (assorted Ghost lines) can have almost clear sheds like the homozygous Hypo's. But the visual appearance of the animal should remain the same. I have no idea if this is more prevalent in specific Ghost lines or occurs in all lines equally.

Any hold-backs from this pairing will have a 50% chance of producing visual Ghosts if bred to a visual Ghost and a 25% if bred to a 100% het.
