Snake Size vs. Box Size
With clutches on the way, I want to stock up on shipping supplies. However, being unable to see the box sizes (on a computer screen doesn't allow for 3D viewing/holding in my hands), I'm having trouble figuring out what box sizes are good for each size snakes. Please note: I will be shipping ball pythons and corn snakes.
Basically, can someone give me a list of snake size and what box you would use for hatchling corn snakes all the way up to adult ball pythons. Here are a few box sizes and feel free to quote and fill in snake sizes. This would be immensely helpful!
6 x 6 x 4 = ____________________g
6 x 6 x 5 = ____________________g
7 x 7 x 6 = ____________________g
8 x 8 x 7 = ____________________g
11 x 11 x 6 = ____________________g
12 x 9 x 6 = ____________________g
15 x 11 x 7 = ____________________g
16 x 16 x 8 = ____________________g
30 x 16 x 10 = ____________________g
Also, if anyone is being overly generous with their time, could you do the same for deli cup and sake bag sizes?
8oz cup = __________________g
12 oz cup = __________________g
16 oz cup = __________________g
6.75cm cup = __________________g
9.75cm cup = __________________g
8 x 12 bag = __________________g
10 x 28 bag = __________________g
12 x 16 bag = __________________g
12 x 20 bag = __________________g
12 x 30 bag = __________________g
15 x 20 bag = __________________g
16 x 28 bag = __________________g
16 x 32 bag = __________________g
24 x 48 bag = __________________g

Here is what I use the most
8 & 12 OZ Deli Cups for colubrids.
6.75 inc Deli Cups for BP up to 150/200 grams but in all honesty I rarely use those as I prefer snake bags for hatchling over 100 grams.
Snake bags
8x12 for hatchlings BP & Juvy
12x20 for Sub adult and adults
Insulated boxes I always buy the ones with ¾ insulation
I use 7X7X6 for colubrids
I use 12X9X6 for hatchling BP and keep a few 15x11x7 and 16x16x8 for adults and groups.

Re: Snake Size vs. Box Size
Well...since it won't let me quote you...
Thanks for the reply! I pretty much already decided snake bags would be used for ball pythons and deli cups for the corns. Baby corns are so small and I would worry they would slip out of a bag. Not to mention, I feel like a deli cup is safer for them because they are so small. I'd hate for one to get squished!
I'm glad to see your opinion on box size since I would probably have guessed a hatchling ball python could fit in an 8 x 8 x 7. So that's good to know that I need a bigger box! I'll be sure to jot this down when I go to order boxes in the next couple of weeks.

It does however I like to have room in the box to allow proper insulation especially during the winter and summer, I may use a smaller in the spring but it's rare.

That makes sense. Considering I'll be selling babies around November (assuming I've timelined things right and babies cooperate with eating) and I want a little more room. More room = more air for the heat pack that's not taken away from the baby.
