Pastel Lines that Hold their Yellow Well?

I know that at least some browning out with pastels is a given, but I was looking through the "Show me your Yellow Snakes!" thread, and some of the pastels I saw in that thread were DROP DEAD GORGEOUS and held onto their yellow beautifully!

What are some lines/breeders that produce pastels that stay pretty and yellow? A lot of pastels I've seen look like light normals with some yellow scales on their side. (In short, I think a lot of them are ugly).
If you guys could point me toward breeders or let me know of lines that produce nice yellow pastels that, for the most part, stay yellow, that would be fabulous.

    Thanks in advance!

Instead of asking "what line" a Pastel is, I'd ask to see pics of the parents, and their parents if possible.

No Pastel is going to stay really yellow as an adult.

There are couple things you can do if you want a really nice yellow Pastel. The first is buy a cross. Pastel Vanillas are nice, Pastel Sulfurs are nice, Pastel YB's are nice...
Or, you can just find a nice sub adult that you really like, and hope it holds its coloring. It is hard to tell as a baby if the Pastel is going to be a nice adult. Most brown out and make pretty dull adults. I guess one more thing you can do is look for a Ruppel Pastel. Those are nice and faded, not sure how they hold their coloring into adult hood though.

I like the Lemon Pastels that originate from NERD. He's our male beside a rather run-of-the-mill pastel female

Though as you can see, he is still browned out in parts. But has lots of blush and retained his yellows really well in the dorsals

I had a pastel from Josh at Outback Reptiles that stayed gorgeous and bright. A friend of mine owns her now. Shes a nasty girl but just eye candy.

    x2!

It isn't always about what "line" an animal comes from. Focus on quality and look to the parents to see the quality in its bloodlines.
