I have a little freezer I keep in the basement for surplus feeders; I think it cost me $60 off Craigslist. I can't remember what brand it is (and don't feel like going down to look) but it's the size of a dorm fridge.

I don't use it all the time though, mostly when I'm building up an order for one of my buyers that likes to buy several months worth for her 9 snakes at once, or if I go shopping and don't have room for all of MY food and the frodents.

Luckily I live alone, so no one to complain about dead animals in the freezer, but I see no difference in having dead chickens, cows, or pigs in your freezer versus dead rats or mice. As long as it's all contained somehow....but some people are just grossed out, *shrugs*

I paid $170 for my 5 cubic foot igloo chest freezer at best buy.
They price matched the lowest internet price.
It cost $20 a year to leave running ...

Just found it on sale for $159 ...

I paid about 200 for my 5.4 something cubic feet freezer with two year fully replacement warranty on it. We use it for feeders for us and the snakes haha.

    Freezer for feeder mice suggestions

I'm so jealous that I don't have a wife to tell me what I can and can't do! Especially over something so silly. Seriously, all you married people are so lucky never having to make your own decisions.

My wife tries to tell me what to do. But when it comes to my snakes and rats what I want is what happens.
