    Wtf?

While I can deal with scorpions easily. I do not like walking into spider webs, totally freaks me out. Now I'm cool with tarantulas because they're bigger and what not but please somebody enlighten me on WTF kind of spider this is?

First off, it royally freaked me out when I dropped my keys and bent down to pick them up only to hit some kind of web. Then to top it off when I decided not to kill it I picked it up with some paper and set it on the floor the damn thing started hopping. While I've heard of jumping spiders this thing hopped up and down to move, and very very quickly if I might ad. So I'm just curious on what kind of spider this is, also just for reference I live in Louisiana.

I'm in the same boat as you, I can deal with tarantulas and scorpions but when it comes to the little ones I freak...

The first thing I do is swat away from my face, but yea I've noticed. I'm still curious what kind of spider this is as I can't find it on the index for spider species in louisiana.

My wife went on this site one time where you can upload a pic of an insect and they identify it for free. Im not sure the name of the site though. It may be worth looking into though??

Thanks to both of you. That is the same spider that I saw.

I'd say it was a cool find if it wasn't on my door handle that I grab to open the front door, lol.
