Quite the collection! Looks like you may be building up to breeding some of them. How is the keeping of the dragons? And what do you have against ball pythons?

I am going to make an attempt at breeding this fall...
My Hog Island male and one of the Hog Island Females are ready and I am going to put the Colombians together and see what happens too. (No mixing... Hog Island with Hog Island and Colombian with the Colombian)
The dragons are great, one of the easiest lizards around we have come across. They are able to be handled and dont have a lot of difficult husbandry demands. For anyone interested here is a link to a care sheet I wrote a while back..... HMD Caresheet

Nothing against BPs ... I had one for a while. My sister loved it to death so I let her have it when she got herself situated down in her new house in North Carolina. She also has a Brazilian Rainbow.

Oh I forgot one other herp in the house...... we also have a Blue Tongue Skink
Look, sometimes bad things happen, and there is nothing you can do about it, so why worry?

those are definately gorgeous snakes! I am a huge fan of Tree Boas! All forms of them have such beautiful coloration!!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

yeah I could see that being a halloween phase.
When they are young they start out with high contrast colors, especially orange. But the orange tends to fade as they get older. Beautiful snake though. Im jealous!
I almost bought one last year but Im glad I didnt. I was not ready for it....
looking forward getting one soon though!

That's quite a zoo you have there, Stormy! I'm very glad you found your way to our forum! Would love to see some pics of the dragon and the skink, too!

I am looking into getting a pair of amazon tree boas, any hints or tips. I am looking to get them soon, when I finish their cage. I heard their temperament is bad but how bad?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Pretty nippy from wht I HEAR - we've just added an ATB caresheet penned by GreenMan - check it out in the Snake Care section in Caresheets (L column).

Aww, how cute are they?! I eventually want to get one of those, not yet though. They are beatutiful. I want to get one once I have the money to build or buy a self contained vavrium so that the snake can be displayed in style and comfort
