    Spot - Leopard (Ringer)

Just a thread showing how Spot has aged, since it's been a topic of interest the past few days on Facebook.

Here's Spot when I first brought her home from the Lone Star Reptile Expo (next to a spider het albino male that I later traded away):

Tiny and beautiful. I didn't even know what a leopard was until after I brought her home and started researching:

Many people assume that she is a piebald or a leopard piebald because of her extreme ringer:

In just a few months she grew A LOT because of her voracious appetite:

After a year she was as big as my two year old spider female, and still going strong. She never really hit that "1,000 Gram Wall":

Now she has become much darker, though I believe she is also starting a shed soon. I will have to get new pics after she sheds, but for now:

Holy wow, that is a big snake! Do you know her weight from when you first picked her up? She looks so TINY!

    Loving her ringer, though.

She was 263 grams when I first got her, and she now weighs 1473 grams. The most she has weighed was 1547 grams back in December, before she quit eating. So not quite as big as she looks.

I would love to breed Spot to an OD eventually. I think it would really go well with her colors.

Thanks everyone. I am very lucky to have her, and she will never leave. I can't wait to get eggs from her (hopefully this year)!
