    Opinions on PVCCAGES.COM

I have been looking around a lot at different cages and even explored a couple of rack options to house my ball python. I think I have finally found a winner at pvccages.com. They were recommended to me by Rich from Reptile Basics if any of you are familiar. I wanted to ask everyone here what they thought of their cages, if they have any experience with one or how well they think one will work for housing my ball python.

So, what does the community think? Is PVC Cages up to the task?

I like that you can pick the height. At 18" I don't get the best reach from my 50W RHP in my vision cages, which forces me to add a little UTH. The crevices in vision are also annoying. I dislike that racks are always about 6" tall, as my bp lift their heads at least that when swallowing rats. If you're using UTH, I don't know how much it matters, but it probably depends on the ambient air of your room.

Most people on here that I know have a cage from them use it for their arboreal snakes like me.

A uth never comes into play for us. You need to make sure that a uth will work in the event you need to add one. You might want to email them.

As for the cage. I love mine. It holds heat and humidity very well and is very sturdy. It also was shipped quick and arrived ready to use. I ordered a preassembled one. It is an extra cost but the seams are sealed.

I do not have a cage from them, but I do have a perch set. Jim was very helpful and quick to respond to emails.

i personally do not like his customer service. i tried for 3 weeks to get detailed pictures of the tanks and he did not help me at all. so i went with animal plastics and never will go with another company.
