    the collection

    hi so i was bored and decided i would show everyone my collection/my gfs too
    we only started collecting about a year ago and love it we have 7 bps.
    she owns the first 3 the normal, pastel, and lemon blast
    i have 3 female normals and a spider.
    i love the hobby and hope to breed someday i get excited just reading about it.
    good luck to everyone that is going to have babies this year and hope everyone gets what they want


    normal 2012 female we got her almost a year ago at 83g
    approx 260g



    lemonblast male late 2012 got him in January at only 90g
    approx 150g



    pastel male 2012
    lighting in the room made him look extra brown. got him when he was only 110g almost a year ago
    approx 360g



    spider unknown late 2011
    also look super brown with like no white sides. ive had it for 10 months was only 400g then
    approx 900g



    normal female unknown year but i say maybe 2009. rescued her from a house hold that hadn't fed her in 3 months she was down to 900ish grams. ive only had her for 9 months
    approx 1350g

    normal female small 2010 was only ever fed mice before she came to me. she was at 850g in February when i got her
    approx 1000g



    normal female 2011 maybe het pied according to they guy i got her from. she was also 800 grams when i got her in mid February
    approx 1000g

    I think your under feeding them, a year and a female has only gained 100 grams? Just saying but you should feed bigger/more food more often :/

    I'd also say they are getting underfed. But to whose standards? I wouldn't say you've harmed them by feeding them less than accepted standards by any means, they are just slender snakes who will take longer to reach maturity.

    Track a wild ball pythons progress and i'm sure the don't grow nearly as fast as CB's do.

    I'd suggest feeding a bit bigger or a bit more often until they get up to maturity size, by then you can scale back the meals, as they will not need to eat as often at maturity.

    Awesome collection by the way. I really like the first normal and the lemon blast, nice looking snakes. The last normal is also pretty cute.

    I think you've got a lovely collection. I started mine 8m ago, and they're my babies. I've got'em ranging from 17g to 1240g. My baby baby, Bob, was about 160g when I got her, and she's a cow now at just over 600g.
