Hi my family and I just received a new pet. Name is Jake 31" long. Not sure in ID but eats well and very docile. Currently in a 30
But looking to upgrade to a 75 in wall. Being from the saltwater hobby I am planning to drill a side hole 4.5" dia going into this 30 gal as a bath tank.

Welcome to the addiction! I hate to burst your bubble, but a 75 gallon is far too big for a ball python. Most of that space will never get used. It is also a lot of space in which to try to properly heat and humidify. More work than it's worth. You'd be better off sectioning it in half and getting a second snake to really utilize that 48" long tank. And ball pythons do not need bath tanks. Baths should not be a regular thing and are mostly for helping a snake shed its skin when humidity isn't high enough. A large enough water bowl for the snake to get most of its body in will do just fine. Good luck your plans. And welcome to the forum.
