ASF breeding update and a DIY tub

I got the tub idea along with the food hopper mostly from the guys on this forum. So far it's working out great!

I am so jealous. Where does everyone get the different colored ASFs? All of mine are the part white & part greyish color...

Nice! I use the same PVC tube feeder for my ASFs!

I might have to steal that idea for a modified wood top. I've had a couple rats get smart and chew their way out. I've been trying to think of modifications I can do to the plastic top... but I feel like its all just a temporary solution.

Your ASFs can't jump up to the top and then spider-rat all around the edges? Thats what mine do... they jump and then chew the edges of the lid. Grr!

Haha, they do spider crawl on the top and get to the edges but I haven't had any chewing as of yet.
