    Only me?

Am I the only one when a ball python, lizard, or other herp gets sick or something happens, while awful as it is at the time is excited to know one more remedy for one more illness/problem?

Experience can be a great teacher. I had mite issues years ago with my then-ball pythons, and conquering them was very satisfying. It goes for other animals, too; reading can teach a lot, and videos more, but experiencing a calamity and going through it firsthand is something else.

    Re: Only me?

I've only encountered mites once or twice(knock on wood) and I've defeated them with ease. The ability to solve future problems are future the reason I read nearly every thread that comes about on the forum. I've also used the info here to help many of my costumers at PETsMART.

    Only me?

Conquering mites is quite the awesome feat! It's not fun but quite rewarding! But nothing beats having a wound heal after keeping it very clean and making sure she has awesome sheds. I browse these forums 4-6 times a day from my iPhone and eventually ended up joining several other forums since there just is never enough to learn!

Knowing that you are becoming a better keeper because of the problem can be very exciting. There are loads of things as keepers that no matter how many videos we watch or how many forums we read, something's we just have to get our hands dirty and learn on the fly about.
