    new set up

hey everyone, ive been monkeying around with temperature and humidity control in charles's tank to see if i can get it even more perfect. let me know what you guys think!

    Temp:
Hotspot: undertank heating pad w/ thermostat- 90degrees
Warmside ambient: low watt heat lamp at about 84 degrees
Coolside: seems to be right at about 78degrees

    Humidity:
    Cool side: 60%
Warm side: 52% (lower because of heat lamp)

Sounds legit. Have fun managing that in a tank though :b
If you have some money on you and still want a nice display cage one of those fancy T8 sliding door cages hold heat and humidity a lot better.

    Re: new set up

haha yeah the tank was a bit of a pain to get perfect at the beginning. i live in a pretty cold and very dry place so it was tough to figure out everything perfect but now its not a problem at all! i hear all this stuff bashing glass tanks but if you put a little bit of thought into it, its really not hard at all. id LOVE to get a glass slider display tank for him, but since ive got everything good now, i think ill wait a little while and save some money. anyways, im pretty proud of getting these temps and humidity in a glass tank so i thought id brag and share
