Poo....Im 98% sure Ive ID'd it as A. urticans....the Peruvian pinktoe...2i go for like $9 . Its the most commonly available "pink toe" next to A.avic. A.bicegoi slings go for like $35-$70. However, the pictures ive seen online of slings from A.bicegoi and A. urticans look exactly alike! But I doubt its an A.bicegoi. Thanks tho Bro.

Re: Help me identify this "pink toe"....

Should I chance Hubby yelling at me and bring it home tonight? Its priced at $35 with the cage its being housed in, but I'm sure I can get it for far less, plus I don't need the cage. Its about 1.75"-2" and Ive already handled it a few times. Whats even more interesting (as Ive read) is that A.urticans will not shoot its hairs you.....but it WILL fling its poo at you!! I saw a video of it on youtube and thought it was quite amusing!! A poo-flinging spider!

I don't think any of the Avics kick Urticating hairs but they have them.

And yes they have good aim

I thought they had more of a purple tint to them. Hard to tell from the pics.
