    Torn here...

So, almost a year ago, we saved a little kitty and they all have been getting along just fine. Well, about a week ago, one of my own cats decided to stop liking the little rescue and got into a HUGE fight with him. I put the little kitty in my bedroom alone (with me of course) and after a while I put them all back together and all seemed fine for a couple days, then they started fighting again. Well, we separated them for a couple of days this time and as soon as they got back together they started fighting AGAIN.

I'm never getting rid of the one who's been here longer and was born and keeps starting the fights, and I really really don't want to get rid of the little guy, he's so sweet and pretty, I just don't know what to do....its gonna tear me apart inside to see him go, so I'm hoping someone on here can shed some light.

We have 5 cats, 4 males 1 female, 3 of the males are fixed, the female and little kitty are not.

    Torn here...

I'd try fixing the two that aren't before giving up on the situation. It sounds like the established male feels threatened by the new guy, which could be getting compounded by having an intact female around (especially if she might be going into heat).

Yup. Definitely get those two fixed. Then everybody will probably settle right down.
